Vale asked: Bicycle symbol sign: What is the law regarding obligation to install a ‘TWO-WAY BIKE ROUTE’ sign at and for a street ahead of its intersection with the bicycle route in order to inform the drivers about the two-way bicycle route? Any world maps for it?

Answer

Bike route signs are not regulatory and are advisory. I am not aware of any statute requiring them at any location.

Bike Route Guide …. signs …. may be provided along designated bicycle routes to inform bicyclists of bicycle route direction changes and to confirm route direction, distance, and destination.
