Roadway or Sidewalk?

Kalief asked: Should I ride a bike on right side of road when there is a sidewalk on left side and not on right hand side.

Answer

A bicycle is a vehicle and its operator has the same rights and duties as other drivers when in the roadway and you are required to ride on the right side of the roadway unless one of the many exceptions is present. See this post:

You may ride on the sidewalk unless prohibited by a local ordinance. When on the sidewalk a cyclist has the rights and duties of a pedestrian and may ride in either direction. See this post:
