Answer

If the vehicle you reference is in fact a miniature motorcycle, it is not a legal vehicle and cannot be used on the roadways. Motorized vehicles cannot be used on sidewalks or bike paths.

s. 316.2128Operation of Motorized Scooters and Miniature Motorcycles; requirements for sales

(1) …. miniature motorcycles …. are not legal to operate on public roads, may not be registered as motor vehicles, and may not be operated on sidewalks ….

To determine if it is a miniature motorcycle or a legal vehicle, you must contact the Department of Motor Vehicles.

If it is a legal vehicle, it must be registered and the operator must have a driver’s license with a motorcycle permit to operate on the roadway.

The vehicle may be operated on private property if permitted by the property owner and by local authorities.

The vehicle may be operated in a public park only if the park regulations permit it.

Regardless of all of the above, you cannot legally ride this vehicle anywhere since it has a motor displacement of greater than 150 cc.

s. 316.2085Riding on Motorcycles or Mopeds

(6)A person under 16 years of age may not:

(a)Operate a motorcycle that has a motor with more than 150 cubic centimeters displacement.
